Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC technician to join our dynamic high-performance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems and possess a variety of mechanical skills. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential settings. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in working with various tools and equipment while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and components to specifications and building codes.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating and cooling systems.
- Be a team player.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts.
- Conduct system tests to ensure proper functionality and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on job sites.
- Recommend product or services based on customer needs.
- Prepare or revise work orders.
- Process customer payments on site.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Gas Technician.
- Familiarity with air conditioning systems is a plus.
- Proven experience in HVAC installation or related mechanical fields.
- Basic computer knowledge required to create work orders, search equipment information, etc.
- Familiarity with plumbing is a plus.
- Experience with boiler systems is advantageous.
- Ability to read schematics effectively.
- Previous experience in maintenance and HVAC repair is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
